Experience promoter
Silje Marie Strandberg has 10 years’ experience as a patient in psychiatry behind her; trauma history and serious mental illness. She experienced being met and seen as a diagnosis, and that she wasn't seen as the girl she was. The treatment consisted of cocktails of drugs. She also experienced the significance of relationships in the face of her former primary contact, mental health nurse Lone Viste Fagerland. Through an honest conversation with Lone, she shares her story and conveys strong themes. Together with director Inger Lene Stordrange, Silje Marie has made the short film "A room without a view" about her life. The two have also started an association.
