Lone Viste Fagerland, age 42. A Norwegian mental health nurse, she has worked in the mental health field since 1997. She completed nursing school in 1999 and specialized in mental health in 2005. She also trained in the POP-project (CBT for psychosis) and experienced TMA (Therapeutic Management of Aggression) - instructor and lecturer. She worked for 12 years with adults at a ward with a wide range of diagnoses: Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, borderline personality, ocd, psychosis, chronic suicidal and multiple personality disorders, among others.
From 2008 to present day, she has worked at an out-patient ward for psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents up to the age of 23 offering mostly therapy to teenagers suffering from emotional disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety and disorders including psychotic symptoms, among others. Her present job also includes lecturing and counselling teachers and parents of children in treatment - focusing on understanding the child’s needs and adjusting their surroundings according to their needs in a psychological perspective. She is married and mother of 3 girls, 13, 10 and 5.
